So only four entries in and I’m going to break one of the rules I set for myself at the beginning: no skipping ahead.

To make a long story short an opportunity has presented itself and in order to rise to the challenge I’ve decided to start blogging in a slightly different way in the next few weeks. The main difference will be that instead of starting with the most basic introductory material, I am going to skip the entries ahead to some of the current projects and skills I’m working on.

The best way to learn something is to try and explain it someone else. Hopefully most of you will still find the material as useful as I do, if not then check back periodically as I’ll try and post some of the ‘getting started’ material as and when I can.
