A reformed classicist with degrees in history and archaeology I became interested in programming languages after deciding I wanted to change careers. I named the site Vox Anguis as a nod to my academic roots and a reference to the first language I learned: Python. Hence the translation, ‘Voice of the Snake.’ 

I currently reside in the UK and my non-tech interests include history/archaeology, barely funny .gifs, eating takeaways, lurking on imgur, reading sci-fi/fantasy novels, puns, and watching more television and films then can possibly be viewed as healthy.
